PML-N won’t let Sindh split, Nawaz assures Palijo

KARACHI  - Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif phoned to Awami Tehreek chief Ayaz Latif Palijo on Thursday assuring him that his party would not let Sindh be divided at any cost.Nawaz Sharif condemned the incident of firing at the Awami Tehreek rally in which 12 people were killed and over 30 injured. He said that the Sindh government was responsible for not providing protection to the rally which led to mass scale carnage. He sympathized him for those who were killed in the incident. The PML-N chief assured him that his party would foil all the conspiracies against the Sindh province with the cooperation of the nationalist parties. Nawaz also demanded through probe and actions against the elements involved in bloodshed in the Awami Tehreek  rally as well as on May 12, 2007 mayhem. Awami Tehreek President Ayaz Latif Palejo has warned of blocking national highways of Sindh in case the accused involved in attack on ‘Mohabat-e-Sindh’ Rally are not arrested within 48 hours.He was talking to media after meeting leader of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party Dr. Qadir Magsi at Hyderabad. Both the leaders condemned the incident of firing on the rally.Dr Qadir Magsi said he has come to meet Ayaz Latif Palejo for condolence and solidarity.He demanded that the case should be registered against the rulers and declared the incident as violence and terrorism.Ayaz Latif Palejo said the people of Sindh are very loving and if they would be set aside then its result will be very dangerous. He demanded of the government to pay Rs 5 million each to the victims of the rally.
