KARACHI - Deputy Mayor Karachi Dr Arshad Vohra has announced establishment of Sadeqain Institute for children where young artists would learn the basics of painting and calligraphy.

Unveiling the plaque of Sadeqain Gallery here on Monday, he paid tribute to the late Sadeqain, and said KMC would renovate this gallery and make it even better for the art lovers and students. CSR Director Saif Abbas, MS Director Masood Alam, DG Parks Abdullah Mushtaq, Director Culture Tariq Naseer, director and members of Sadeqain Foundation and others were present on the occasion. The deputy mayor said that 55 thousand books and newspapers, dating back to 1845 till the present era kept in Liaquat Library, would be converted into computerized books.
