KARACHI - In an apparent act of targeted killing, two more people - Sunday Bazaar vendors - were killed in the metropolis on Sunday evening.
The incident took place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal block-13 D/3 in the jurisdiction of the Aziz Bhatti Police Station. Both the victims died instantly after being targeted by unidentified gunmen. Their bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. They were identified as 26-year-old Kamran, son of Abdul Majeed, and Abdul Aleem, 32, son of Abdul Qudoos.
SHO Kanson Dean said the victims were relatives and hailed from Gilgit-Baltistan. They were residing at Micasa Apartments near Civic Centre and used to run a stall at the Sunday Bazaar.
The SHO further said that according to investigation, the victims were killed over personal enmity. Further investigation is in progress.
