Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Saturday filed another petition in the election tribunal (ET) for verification of thumb prints of voters in NA-256 constituency. The application was moved by PTI leader Zubair Khan.
The Election Tribunal has already directed National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) for verification of thumb prints of voters in PS-128.
While NADRA verified and submitted the report to ET regarding verification of thumb prints of voters at 67 polling stations of various constituencies on petition of PTI’s Zubair Khan alleging rigging.
The ET adjourned the hearing of petition against MQM MPA Syed Waqar Hussain Shah who was declared successful from PS-128, till Nov 09. His success has been challenged by opponent candidate Sultan belonging to PML-N.
Meanwhile, hearing of petition challenging success of MQM candidate from NA-251, Ali Raza Abidi was adjourned till Nov 12. The petition has been moved by PTI candidate from the same constituency Raja Azhar.
