Karachi violence claims five more lives

Despite tall claims of the provincial and federal governments and law enforcement authorities target killing continue to engulf innocent lives as five more people were killed and about two dozen others injured in fresh spate of target killing and hand grenade attack in different localities of the city on Thursday.
According to details, unknown motorcyclists gunned down a trader of Urdu Bazaar named Sudhir.
The police recovered a dead body, packed in a gunny bag from Ram Swami area.
In Dalmia locality, some unidentified miscreants hurled a grenade, killing a woman Shakeela Jan and injuring five others.
Meanwhile, in a firing incident on the car of Karachi Building Control Authority officer near Old Vegetable Market, a man named Safdar Magsi and his driver were wounded while a man was injured in firing on a car at Abul Isphahani Road.
Rangers during house-to-house search operation in different areas of the city arrested four accused and recovered arms from their possession.
