KARACHI - Bandits on Thursday looted worth Rs5.6 million from a bank in Bahadurabad police precincts. Police said gunmen reached at the bank branch, situated at Tipu Sultan Road, on a car and a motorbike. They held the whole staffers including the bank guards hostage and managed to flee after looting rupees 5.6 million. They also took away the recorded video of CCTV with them. Police started investigation and took both the security guards into custody for questioning. It is worth mentioning here that it was the 12th bank robbery in the current year.
