Four bodies recovered from cargo plane crash

Four bodies have been recovered from the site of the crash of a Russian cargo plane near Dalmia area here in the small hours of Sunday, Ambulance Service said. The Edhi ambulances shifted three bodies to the Civil hospital while the fourth one was taken there by a private ambulance.An official of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had stated earlier that a Russian-made cargo plane which was leaving Karachi for Khartoum, Sudan, with a crew of eight came down soon after take off. He said the plane had fallen on an under-construction building in Dalmia area.An official of the Central Fire Brigade said the plane crash caused a big fire and some 25 fire tenders and bowzers were dispatched to the area.
