Kamal inaugurates 7 projects in Landhi

KARACHI - City Nazim Mustafa Kamal Friday inaugurated 7 big development projects in Landhi Town on Friday. The projects including Arif Hussain School main campus at Korangi No.4, Campus II at UC7, D Park at Babar Market, Afza Roller scatting Park in UC6, Road at UC11 Korangi No.4, Whole Sale Market Road at Landhi No.6 and Road at UC6 have been completed with a cost of Rs.200million. MNA Syed Asif Husnain, MPA Amir Moin Pirzada, MPA Khalid Ahmed, Acting Town Nazim Landhi, Naib Nazim and large number of elected representatives were also present on this occasion. Thousands of people including women and children showered rose petals at City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on his arrival at Landhi Town. The residents had also arranged camps in different areas with large welcoming banners and huge portraits of Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussin and City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal. After the inauguration ceremony, Nazim Karachi also addressed a huge public gathering at Chiragh Hotel, Landhi No.5. Speaking at this occasion and while talking to the media representatives Nazim Karachi said that today is a happiest day for us as some big development projects have been completed in Landhi Town costing Rs.200 million. He said that this is a big honour for people in this town that they now have public schools having standard at par with Grammar Schools of developed areas where highly qualified teachers and computer experts have been hired to ensure best education standard. Nazim Karachi said that the projects of Vocational Training Centre, Sports Stadium and Institute of Heart Disease costing billions of rupees would also inaugurate soon in Landhi Town. He said that Karachi is like a bouquet of people belongs to different caste, colour and communities. Haq Parast leadership has set up a great example of serving the humanity without any discrimination. He said that the journey of development in Karachi must continue as the progress of Karachi means progress of Pakistan. Nazim Karachi also thanked President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on behalf of the citizens of Karachi and said that he is sincere to the development process in Karachi as he had always issued directives for expeditious implementation on the mega projects for Karachi. He said that he is sure about the early implementation of directives of President of Pakistan. Nazim Karachi said that the citizens of Karachi would also get a new gift in the public transport sector. 50 CNG buses would run on two routes on experimental basis where white colour citizens would get best and high standard travelling facilities.
