Now, US Assistant Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs Richard Boucher Tuesday lauded the role of Pakistan in war against terror and assured US support would be continued in what he termed as 'international war on terror'. He said this during his meeting with Governor Punjab, Salman Taseer here at Governor House. "US and Pakistan are important allies in the international war on terror," Boucher said, adding, "The overall US-Pakistan friendly relations are much more broad-based than just this."
