Raiwind moot begins

LAHORE  - First phase of Raiwind congregation started amid tight security on Thursday with religious scholars and devotees praying for the progress of Ummah.
Hundreds of thousands of participants including foreigners reached Raiwind city.
Security has been tightened for the congregation while traffic managers have deployed wardens to ensure smooth flow.
Meanwhile, three special trains are on the track to take passengers at congregation as people from in and outside of the country keep pouring in for the congregation. Beside it, hundreds of people are working voluntarily to look after congregation affairs.
Addressing the participants, congregation central ameer Haji Abdul Wahab urged all the Muslims to follow Quran and Sunnah to find success in this word and hereafter. He said Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) and his followers started preaching in the world for the guidance of humanity.
“Now it is responsibility of present Ummah and its scholars to spread Islam and its teachings for the whole mankind,” he added. He said sincerity and devotion with pure intentions was the basic ingredient of preaching of Islam.
Later, various scholars also spoke and prayed for the whole mankind and particularly for Pakistan and Ummah.
