LAHORE  - A 30-year-old driver was stabbed to death during a scuffle over car parking in Green Town, police said on Friday.
Resident of Kot Heera Singh, Farman Ali, was working as driver with Dr Safia at her house in Green Town. The driver parked the car in the street when a neighbour, identified as Toni Shah, exchanged harsh words with him over wrong parking. Toni Shah got infuriated and repeatedly stabbed Farman.
The driver sustained multiple wounds and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced as brought dead. The killer managed to escape. Police reached the spot and moved the body to the morgue for autopsy.
Police have registered a murder case against Toni and are investigating with no arrest made yet.
KILLED: A 50-year-old man was killed while his friend wounded seriously when their car collided with another vehicle near Mian Plaza in Johar Town.
Police said that the road mishap took place because of over speeding. Rescue workers said that Muhammad Waheed died on the spot while his friend Nasir was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries. Further investigations are underway.
