Imran Khan condemns Karachi killings


LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has condemned targeted killing in Karachi resulting in the killing of 18 innocent people.
In a statement issued on Friday, he said that sectarian violence has damaged the peace of Karachi. Khan said that the police have failed to maintain law and order in Karachi. He appealed to the residents of Karachi to remain calm and help in restoring peace in the financial hub of the country. He said that any violent response would only add to the problems of the city.
He demanded the law enforcing agencies to control the situation and restore peace in Karachi so that the country could make economic progress.
