Govt victimising opponents in the name of NAP: Qadri

LAHORE: PAT chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has alleged the government victimizes political opponents by changing directions of the National Action Plan.

In a statement issued from Pakistan Awami Teheek head office Model Town yesterday, he said a factious democratic system was being run in the country by Sharifs violating human rights. “Extra-judicial killing continue on a daily basis. Shia genocide has not stopped despite completion of 53 protest by Majlis-e-Wahadat Al-Muslmeen. Their 3400 workers were killed in past six years,” he said.

Dr Qadri said in civilized societies the protesters were heard by the rulers and their demands were taken seriously, but in Pakistan the rulers were least concerned about the issues and problems of the people. The PAT chairman said that there was no doubt that these rulers were supportive of terrorists and extremists and they had changed the very spirit of the NAP.
