Dr Akram honoured

LAHORE (PR) King Edward Medical University (KEMU)s Basic Medical Sciences Dean Prof Dr Muhammad Akram is honoured at the twilight of his medical career as his name has been included in the list of South Asia Advisory Panel for two internationally recognised books on Physiology. The books are: Medical Physiology by Guyton and Hall, and Respiratory Physiology by JB West. Dr Akram himself has authored two books on clinical and medical Physiology. He is also the chairman of 12th Binnel International Physiology Conference to be held at KEMU on October 25-26, 2010. His contribution towards the profession by producing undergraduate and a record number of MPhil postgraduates is highly appreciated locally and internationally.
