LAHORE The Tribunal visited Jinnah Barrage on Monday and was given briefing by Shabbir Ahmed Malik, Chief Engineer, Sargodha Zone, Irrigation and Power Department. The Tribunal visited the Kalabagh Rest House to see the high flood level in the recent floods. Thereafter the Tribunal also visited the proposed site of Kalabagh Dam. Late in the day, the Tribunal recorded the statements of private complaints for the city of Mianwali, namely Sanaullah Khan, Habib Ullah Khan Niazi, Advocate, Taj Muhammad Jora and Rana Muhammad Akram, General Manager (Admin & IR), Maple Leaf Cement Factory Ltd., Mianwali. Nawazish Ali, ex-SDO, Jinnah Barrage was also questioned by the Tribunal. The Tribunal continued its hearing late in the evening. The Tribunal will resume its hearing on Tuesday morning (today) at the WAPDA Rest House at Chashma Barrage.
