LAHORE Illegal purchase worth million of rupees against paper rules in Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has been unearthed, TheNation has learnt. High-ups of Finance and Education Department expressed displeasure in a board meeting for not following papers in purchase and held former BISE Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed responsible and recommended against him to Punjab government. Board Chairman and members had called for implementing board purchase policy. The former BISE Secretary issued tender in newspapers worth millions of rupees but did not mention their worth and number of purchasing items. The tender in newspapers seemed worth only few million rupees but only a few influential people knew that it had high-value.
