RAWALPINDI - A citizen lost his life after metal wire used in kite flying cut his throat while he was driving his motorcycle here on Friday. According to the details, the victim Malik Amir Khalil was riding his bike on the Murree Road in the area of Waris Khan when a stray metal wire cut his throat and injured him badly. He was shifted to BB Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Taking notice of the incident, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Aslam Tareen suspended Malik Yousuf Station House Officer. He also issued show cause notice to him for further departmental action against him. The RPO also asked SP Rawal Town Zarait Kiani and DSP Malik Tanveer to submit their reply regarding this negligence.
