LAHORE - The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust jointly arranged a special sitting to mark the 122nd birth anniversary of Madar-i-Millat Fatima Jinnah at Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan Saturday. NPT Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Secretary Shahid Rashid, Nasira Javed Iqbal, Bushra Rehman, egum Mehnaz Rafi, Prof Dr Parveen Khan, Amna Ulfat, Prof Dr MA Sufi, Maj Gen(r) Rahat Latif, Allama Ahmad Ali Kasuri, Samman Aruj, Shaista Hussain, Aziz Zafar Azad, Major (r) Siddique Rehan and other notables joined in.Addressing the participants, the speakers paid tribute to Fatima Jinnah for helping her brother Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in creation of Pakistan.They lauded her effort for building the nation after the creation of country. Shahid Rashid talked about various aspect of the life of Madar-i-Millat. The speakers also paid tribute to late Dr Nizami for his lifelong service for the homeland. The speakers paid tribute to Madar-i-Millat for her role in spreading awareness among Muslim women of the Sub-continent.
