LAHORE - A youth gunned down his farther and stepmother over property dispute in Raiwind City Saturday. A two-year-old son of the deceased also sustained bullet wounds and was rushed to hospital in critical condition. The killer is at large, police said. Resident of Jiya Bagga, Mustafa, had a property dispute with his father, Abdul Sattar. The 50-year-old landlord had contracted second marriage with Farzana Bibi after the death of his first wife. According to police, the deceased was reluctant to hand over the property share to his son Mustafa. Mustafa visited the house of his father and demanded his share in the property. The man exchanged harsh words with his son and refused to fulfill his demand. Mustafa got infuriated, took out a gun, and opened indiscriminate fire. As a result, Sattar, his wife Farzana Bibi, and two-year-old son sustained serious bullet wounds. They were rushed to hospital where the couple was pronounced as brought dead. The killer fled from the crime scene. Police moved the bodies to the morgue for autopsy and are conducting raids to arrest the killer. Further investigation is underway. MURDER: A 27-year-old man was shot dead over a family dispute at his house in Ghaziabad Saturday. The body was moved to the morgue for autopsy. Police said that M Awais along with his two accomplices visited his in-laws’ house in Muslimabad to reconcile with his estranged wife. Awais took out a gun and opened straight fire on his brother-in-law, Raja Taimour, during a scuffle which broke out when his in-laws refused to settle the dispute. The killers fled from the scene. Police have registered a murder case against Awais, his accomplices Kaka Gujjar and Amir Baggu on the complaint of brother of the deceased.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
