Missing health facilities ‘soon’

LAHORE - Punjab Secretary Health  Dr Ijaz Munir on Monday said that the government would implement special program of providing missing medical equipment/machinery at government hospitals, recruit doctors and nurses and repair hostels during the next financial year.  During visit to Government Said Mitha Teaching Hospital, he said that the institution has become state-of-the-art hospital where hundreds of patients visit daily.
He inaugurated new nursery and administered polio vaccine to the children in connection with three-day anti-polio campaign in Lahore. He also visited all sections of the hospital. Secretary Health told that 1.572 million children would be administered polio vaccine in 165 union councils of Lahore during the campaign.
