LAHORE - Senior Federal Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi along with Advisor to PM Raja Basharat called on Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Ahmad Khan Khosa at Governor House on Wednesday. Latest political situation came under discussion during the meeting, according to an official hand out, which also said that both the governor and the Senior Minister expressed concern over inordinate delay in holding of local elections in Punjab. The two also talked about forthcoming Senate elections and the prospects of cooperation between the PPP and PML-Q in this regard. Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that people were not happy with the performance of Punjab government and they had expressed their anger by participating in Imran Khans rally in a big way. He also shared his concern with the Senior Minister regarding bad law and order situation in Punjab. The governor and the PMLQ leaders expressed their resolve to continue the politics of reconciliation and make joint efforts to defeat undemocratic forces.
