LAHORE – PML-N Senator Ishaq Dar on Friday said that the overseas organisations of the party were intact and the reports of their dissolution had no veracity.
Ishaq stated that deliberate attempts were made by some malefactors to dismay millions of party voters and supporters outside the country. He stated that overseas Pakistanis were a true asset of the country, and the PML-N wholeheartedly recognises their sacrifices and contribution to the national economy.
Ishaq said that the PML-N had previously obtained the input of overseas Pakistanis on national and international matters and it would continue to do so without undermining their status and position. “PML-N President Nawaz Sharif advocates the right of vote for the overseas Pakistanis and his efforts will bear fruit,” he concluded.
