LAHORE - A 40-year-old trader succumbed to burn injuries while a youth suffered minor wounds when some unidentified accused threw acid on their faces in Misri Shah police area in the wee hours of Tuesday. Police investigators said that the deceased Sheikh Moha-mmad Naeem, a resident of Choopura Street, along with his three children and spouse was sleeping when some accused entered his house and threw acid on the family. Naeem and Mohammad Waris received burn injuries. They were rushed to the Burn Unit of Mayo Hospital where the doctors pronounced Nae-em dead. Police investigators said that a case had been lodged against the unknown accused.
