GCU wins three oratory awards: The Government College University Lahore Debating Society (GCUDS) has won three distinctions at the All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest 2011 organised by the Punjab Group of Colleges. GCUDS President Ali Zafar was adjudicated the Best English Speaker of the contest and awarded with the cash prize of Rs 100,000 while GCUDS General Secretary Saadul Hassan won the third position and cash prize of Rs 50,000 in Urdu Debates.
