LAHORE - District Coordination Officer Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi has said that Lahore would soon be made encroachment free city. Chairing a meeting held on Monday to review anti-encroachment campaign at DCO Office, he directed town administrators to paint all trucks with one color and ensure that employees were wearing same uniform. Dr Qazi directed TMOs to maintain inventory register of confiscated goods and establish a warehouse. While returning confiscated items, thumb impression of owners should be taken at computer center to be established at warehouse, he directed. He directed establishment of a control room at DCO Office for monitoring operation and redressal of complaints. He said that every inch of state land would be retrieved from land grabbers.DCO at Badami Bagh: DCO Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi on Monday visited Lorry Adda Badami Bagh and inspected ongoing anti encroachment operation. He appreciated Ravi Town and Lorry Adda administration for retrieving 5 kanal land, demolishing hotels, shops and service stations constructed on government land.
