LAHORE A 30-year-old woman was allegedly killed over domestic dispute in Baghbanpura police precincts in the wee hours on Monday, sources said. Sources in investigation wing believed the woman later identified as Shumaila Abbas, resident of Mehmood Boti, was poisoned to death by her husband Mohammad Abbas. However the police concerned said she died under cardiac arrest as she was found dead on her bed early on Monday. Police investigators said Abbas, father of three, phoned her paternal family and informed about the death of Shumaila. Police however are investigating Mohammad Abbas on the suspicion of the deceased uncle. According to her uncle, Abbas has killed her spouse over unknown reasons. Later, the body was shifted to the City morgue for autopsy with no arrest till filing of this report. Further investigations are underway.
