LAHORE - The Endowment Fund Trust of Government College University (GCU) Saturday announced initiating Skindar M Khan Silver Scholarship, which would be given to a deserving student on merit every year. Noted businessman and Old Ravians Union member Skindar M Khan donated Rs 5 million to the trust to help the university students. EFT Executive Committee Secretary Prof Khalid Manzoor Butt said that it was a perpetual scholarship and would meet the academic fee of a deserving student every year. He said it was the 23rd scholarship initiated by an Old Ravian. A golden scholarship is initiated with the donation of Rs 1 million covers the university fee as well as hostel expenses of a student while a sliver scholarship covers the university fee only, Butt said.
