3-days CNG loadshedding schedule implemented in 4 regions of Punjab

CNG loadshedding schedule of three days is being implemented on the CNG stations in the four regions of Punjab, residents are facing a lot of difficulties due to this. According to the circular issued by Sui Northern gas, all the CNG stations in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal and Multan are closed since 6am in the morning. Masses were expecting decrease in CNG loadshedding from 1st July but government did not come up to their expectations. CNG closure for three days a week is unjust for the masses as this would have serious repercussions on the daily business activities. The decision of Federal government to close CNG supply to the CNG stations of Islamabad, Murree, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal and Multan on Thursday, Friday and Saturday has been implemented for the first time. All the CNG station owners, transporters, car owners, Rickshaw drivers and CNG consumers have strongly protested against this CNG loadshedding. Transporters have also threatened to do wheel jam strike in the country if this loadshedding continues. The Chairman of CNG association Gayas Paracha has strongly protested against this decision and has said that there business would be affected due to gas loadshedding and increase in CNG prices.
