Altaf wants end to feudalism living in posh London area: Nizami

LAHORE - Editor-in-Chief The Nation and Chairman Nazaria Pakistan Trust, Majid Nizami has said that objective of Pakistans creation was to enforce Islam and those who label Quaid-e-Azam as secular are misled. Addressing the 21st training workshop of teachers belonging to Sargodha and Faisalabad schools at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Friday, he said that he still considered himself a student. He said that two-nation theory was the basis of creation of Pakistan. We are a Muslim nation in the newly created state of Pakistan. He said Muslim League was not the property of any feudal or landlord. Altaf Hussain of MQM is inviting Army to take over. Let sanity prevail over him. He wants to end feudalism but living in a posh and expensive locality of London. Yahya Khan divided Pakistan while Gen Ziaul Haq prolonged his rule on the pretext to enforce Islam. We have also seen the rule of General Musharraf and Altaf Hussain is calling for military rule again. We have elected our representatives and wont want them to collapse the system, he added. Nizami urged the teachers to tell the younger generation how Pakistan was created and how many sacrifices were given. He said if Quaid wanted a secular state then why he separated from Hindus? He said Pakistan movements slogan was based on Kalma Tayyaba and this was the objective of the creation of Pakistan. People also wanted to see Pakistan as an Islamic welfare and democratic state. Dr Rafique Ahmad said some hidden elements were misleading the people about Pakistan, adding the same elements were calling the Quaid as secular. He said Pakistan had countless natural resources but the need was to use these resources for the development of the country. He asked the teachers to guide the youth as they have to lead the nation in future. He said the younger generation was protector of the culture and civilisation of a nation. Dr Sarfraz Hussain delivers a lecture on multimedia on the occasion. He informed the teachers abut the Pakistan Movement and its major events. He told them how the Quaid led the Muslims of the Sub-continent. Earlier, Secretary NPT told the teachers about the objectives of the workshop. He also briefed them about the activities of the NPT.
