LAHORE - Pakistan's tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi pairing with Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez secured the 54th title of his career when they beat Brazilian local favourite pair to win the prestigious Belo Horizonte ATP Challenger Championship. They lived up to their top seed ranking of the championship when they defeated Danial Silva and Caio Zampieri in their backyard. The Brazilian pair had earlier upset the second and the fourth seeded pairs of the championship and were upbeat against the top seeds too but bullet like aces and aggressive play of Aisam and Gonzalez denied them of every opportunity and they failed to keep the trophy at home for Brazil despite strong support of the Brazilian crowd. Aisam and Gonzalez broke their opponents serve in the eighth game at 4-3 to take a 5-3 lead and went on to win the set with a score of 6-3. In the second set the battle was more keenly fought and the set went into a tie break for decision which was secured by the winners at 7-6 (3). This is Aisam's 54th title in the International Mens Tennis.
