LAHORE Sayid Paper Bucks beat Descon by seven wickets in SPM League quarter final match and qualified for the semi-final in Non Professional groups. Descon scored 166 for all out. Ahsan Shamim 66, Muhammad Imran 27 and Wasim Ikram 21 were the main scorers. Zahid Khan 3-20, Imran Sohail 2-18 and Javed Khan 2-21. In reply Sayid Paper Bucks scored 167-3 with Babar Barnat 73, Saood Cheema 29, Jamshed Siddiqi 21 and Nadeem Aslam 21 not out were the main scorers. Mudassar Iqbal 2-9 was the only main wicket takers. Babar Barnat was declared man of the match. Adnan Rasheed and Fayyaz Ahmed were the umpires while Saboor Ahmed was the scorer. In the second match, Premier Insurance beat Shafqat Rana Club by 67 runs and qualified for the semi-final in Professional Group. Premier Insurance scored 279 for nine wickets. Arslan Mir 69, Hafiz Saad Naseem 59 not out, Umer Siddique 54 were the main scorers. Mateen 3-60 and Zafar Gohar 2-39 were the main bowlers. In reply Shafqat Rana scored 212 all out with Salman Ali 65, Yasir Abbas 43 and Zeeshan Ali 38 were the main scorers. Nazir Ahmed 3-51, Amir Hayat 2-27 and Saad Naseem 1-32 were the main wicket takers. Hafiz Saad Naseem was declared man of the match. Sagheer Ahmed and Ahmed Shahab were the umpires.
