LAHORE - Senior Minister Raja Riaz says it is premature to say who will be nominated in the case of assassination of Governor Salman Taseer. Talking to reporters at the Governors House, he said a decision on the issue would be taken by the family of the assassinated governor in the light of the investigations. Condemning the tragic incident in strongest terms, the minister said it could not be called a security lapse. It would have been a security lapse if the attacker had come from outside, the minister said, adding the assassin was from the governors escort. He said the governor had sought a bullet-proof vehicle from the Punjab government, which had not been provided.
