Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday lauded China's cooperation in overcoming energy crisis in the country.
He was chairing a high level meeting in Lahore today (Sunday) to review pace of work on energy projects being set up in the province.
The Chief Minister assured that agreement with China Western Power Company will be executed soon.
The meeting also reviewed progress on building two 660 megawatt coal-fired power plants in Sahiwal.
A committee was formed under Chief Secretary to supervise the projects.
The Chief Minister directed to ensure quality and transparency in all development projects being executed in the province.
