The Ministry of Railways has decided to decrease train fares by 15 to 25 percent.
Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq said the notification in this regard will be issued in few days.
After the notification, train fares for AC Business class and AC Sleeper would be Rs3,000 and Rs4,000 from Lahore to Karachi, respectively.
