LAHORE - Mujahid Squad of Lahore Police claimed to have arrested 420 accused men involved in street crime, drugs pushing and other criminal activities during patrolling and 15 Emergency calls during the month of Nov and recovered booty, illegal weapons, and drugs from their possession. According to an official communique issued on Sunday, Mujahid Squad has also arrested 29 proclaimed offenders and 34 court absconders out of the total arrested accused. Following the directions of Superintendent of Police (SP) Mujahid Muntazir Mehdi, the Squad enhanced patrolling in crime hit areas and arrested notorious POs. About 312 cases have also been registered against the arrested accused people in different police stations of the provincial capital. Police have also claimed to recover 59 pistols, 12 pump actions and rifles and 16 kg charas and heroine.
