Elahi dubs Orange Train project a 'disaster'

FAISALABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has stated that orange train project is the disaster, distraction package of the masses.

He also held the existing government of PML-N causalities of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees, during protest demonstration.

Talking to media persons, he said that it is regrettable to target the employees of PIA going to protest for their rights and termed it the worse example of tyranny adding that it was the right of every citizen to hold protest demonstration for their rights and constitution of the country also permits. He said that rulers have made unsuccessful attempt to suppress the voice of the people, however this voice was raising gradually.

“Criticizing the orange train project of the Punjab government, Elahi said that people were dying of hunger and rulers were running the orange train adding that this was the project of PML-Q which was stolen by the Punjab government”, he added and maintained that we have to run it underground but the people were being displaced in links with the orange train project.

He said that PML-Q always served the people and worked for their prosperity and voiced for them in the parliament.

Expressing sympathies with the employees of PIA, Elahi assured that voice would be raised for their rights.
PML-Q had always protested against anti-people policies of the government including unemployment, price hiking and power outages.
