LAHORE - A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Monday dismissed an intra court appeal of Laiba Sehar who challenged the LHC order restraining her from marrying her jailed fianc, a condemned prisoner. Earlier, she got permission from a bench of the high court to marry her jailed fianc but later it was transpired she had concealed facts from the court to obtain a favourable decision. Later, Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry, after revelation of truth, had recalled his order restraing Laiba Sehar from marrying his alleged fianc and issued show cause notice to her for concealing facts from the court. Now, Laiba, who was later identified by her father as Sidra Kanwal, assailed the courts order to the extent of recalling marriage permission. However, the division bench dismissed her appeal observing the court could not allow marriage with a condemned prisoner.
