Lahore - LHC Chief justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif on Monday, taking suo moto notice of stripping a naked 50 years old woman and her 14 years old daughter, directed District Police Officer Muzaffargarh to appear before the court on July 7 at 8am sharp with complete record of the case. Some 14 people thrashed aged lady Allah Wasi and her daughter Ashraf Mai in the presence of a number of people in Shehr-Sultan. The CJ took suo moto of the incident on the basis of a news report published on Monday in a English newspaper and expressed great concern over the unpleasant incident which humiliated the honour of a family. He directed the advocate general Punjab to ensure compliance with the order and be present in the court to assist in the matter today.
