LAHORE – Loadshedding Management Committee of the Punjab Cabinet, formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, appointed energy inspectors to ensure continuous supply of electricity for water, sewerage system and hospitals.Senior Advisor to CM, Senator Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa presided over the meeting regarding elimination of loadshedding in the province, in tent office at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam on Tuesday. Advisor to CM Raja Ashfaq Sarwar MNA, Pir Imran Shah, secretary home, IGP, secretaries of finance, energy, housing urban development and public health engineering, local government, labour and implement and coordination departments were also present.The meeting decided that in view of law and order situation due to loadshedding, provision of electricity for water supply, sewerage and treatment facilities to the people in the hospitals would be monitored and energy inspectors would perform their duties efficiently in this regard.
