LAHORE The Capital City Traffic Police have arrested 39 wheelies in a drive against the harmful practice across the provincial city so far while the challans have also been issued to dozens of the motorcyclists. Chief Traffic Officer SSP Syed Ahmed Mobin has also directed the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) of the traffic police to leave no stone unturned in eliminating the practice. He further deployed two extra emergency squads on the Ring Road besides directing the heavy bike riders to initiate strict action against the wheelies especially on the Jail Road, The Mall, Main Boulevard Road, Shalimar Road and Township. He, however, reiterated that action would be continued till the completion of this campaign.
