Shelter for homeless without discrimination

MIRPUR (AJK) - AJK Prime Minister Ch Abdul Majeed categorically declared on Monday that all sorts of allotments made by the Mirpur Development Authority so far stood intact and non of the allotments was ordered to be cancelled by his government.
The AJK Premier was talking a delegation of the members of Kashmir Press Club Mirpur who called on him at the Prime Minister House in Muzaffarabad on Monday under the leadership of Press Club President Syed Abid Hussain Shah and former Vice President Sardar Abid Hussain.
The AJK Prime Minister said that his government believed in provision of shelter to the homeless families across the state including the journalist fraternity in Mirpur on priority under the spirit of the PPP slogan roti, kapra aur makan to the needy without any discrimination.
Ch Majeed stated while responding to questions that since his government had not advised the MDA for cancellation of any allotment including made by the recent-past management of the MDA headed by former Director General Mirza Javed Iqbal. "No any plot, allotted or adjusted by the outgoing DG MDA Mirza Javed Iqbal-led management, has been ordered to be cancelled or to be revised", the Prime Minister declared.
Ch Majeed further stated that his government believed in providing relief to the homeless people across AJK without any discrimination. He referred to the recent grant of proprietary rights of the properties to the refugees of occupied Jammu & Kashmir settled in various parts of AJK since 1947 and later on.
Referring to other achievements of his government, Prime Minister Majeed pointed out that emergence of two medical colleges in Mirpur and Muzaffarabad AJK was an exceptional achievement of his government.
He asserted that his incumbent government of PPP performed marvellous for the speedy progress of AJK since it came into existence as a result of land slide victory in June 26, last year AJK assembly elections. He added that such exceptional performance could not be performed the previous governments in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
