LAHORE - Chairman Nazria-i-Pakistan Trust and Editor-in-Chief Nawa-i-Waqt Majid Nizami has said that purpose behind the formation of Pakistan was to provide justice and all basic amenities of life to people without any discrimination but unfortunately since its creation the people have been denied their rights. He said that Pakistan is the property of general public not of the few influentials. He expressed these views while addressing a sixth ideological training workshop of the teachers held under the aegis of NPT at Awain-e-Karkunan-e-Tehreek-e-Pakistan on Thursday. Dr Javed Iqbal, Senator Naeem Hussain Chatta and Professor Dr Sarfraz Hussain Mirza were also present on the occasion. Majid Nizami asked President Asif Ali Zardari to become a Mard-e-Hurr (brave man) not a Mard-e-Zar (one who harms others). He said that Quaid-e-Azam fought the war of independence courageously and due which Muslims of subcontinent could able to get separate homeland with in seven years of struggle. He said that Hindu culture was prevailing everywhere in Pakistan. He said our young generation is deeply impressed by the Hindu culture as they watch Indian movies and programs with great interest and they do not know that after how many sacrifices Pakistan was achieved besides they are also unaware of the Islamic values. He said: We started Nazriati Summer School but only few hundreds children could get education here. So, we have decided to invite teachers here and assign them this duty to train the children on the pattern of Nazriati school. He said that a number of Muslim political parties opposed the creation of Pakistan and their activists are yet firm with their stance. Within such circumstances it is our responsibility to make our children aware of our history and also tell them that we are followers of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He demanded the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif to include the Nazria-e-Pakistan in the syllabus. He pledged, We will introduce the Nazria-e-Pakistan as part of the syllabus at every level in the education in Punjab. He appreciated the Chief Minister Punjab on giving Rs0.3 to a student but said that it was not enough to solve the issue of education of the nation. Dr Javed Iqbal and professor Dr. Sarfraz Hussain Mirza also spoke on the occasion.
