LAHORE - The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) SSP Syed Ahmed Mobin has appreciated the traffic wardens over their excellent performance, which they showed during the worlds second largest Tableeghi Ijtema at Raiwind City. According to an official handout issued on Monday, he said that the City Traffic Police had ensured smooth flow of traffic during the four-day long congregation as no incident took place in the vicinity of the Pindaal. The police had also chalked out a comprehensive plan for the departure of the participants, he remarked. Mobin further said a good number of wardens were deputed at necessary diversion points in the entire locality. The Police Radio FM 88.8 had also transmitted special programmes and guidelines during the Ijtema. The CTO also praised the cooperation of the citizens and further appealed to cooperate during the second phase of the Ijtema, which will start from December 9 to 12.
