LAHORE – PHP claimed to have recovered a snatched vehicle after an encounter and foiled a robbery attempt on national highways on Monday.
According to the details, PHP post Khanpur, district Sheikhupura received information that five dacoits had snatched a passenger Toyota Hi-Ace (GAH-2850) near Gujjar CNG Maloke. PHP team reached the spot immediately and found driver of the Hi-Ace namely Ishtiaq Ahmad, who told the PHP team that dacoits had taken away his Toyota Hi-Ace. PHP team chased the aforesaid Hi-Ace and tried to stop, but dacoits opened firing at the PHP team, which retaliated in the same manner due to which dacoits left the said Hi-Ace and succeeded to escape by taking the advantage of darkness.
