LAHORE  - The Lahore High Court Thursday sought reply from the Punjab government by April 15 on a plea for raise in salary of watchmen.
The Anjuman-i-Chokidaran moved the court of Justice Shahzada Mazhar, saying that the government was paying Rs300 per month to the watchmen. Their  counsel told the court that the government never heeded to such a sensitive issue. The counsel made a request to the court for directing the government to increase their salary to Rs10, 000 per month.
