Medical college fraud case adjourned

LAHORE An accountability court on Friday recorded the statements of three witnesses in Al-Huda Medical College fraud case and adjourned hearing till May 14, 2011. The National Accountability Bureaus Punjab chapter had booked Al-Huda Medical College principal Sayd Asif Ali Bukhari for setting up the college illegally and pocketing fees from students as well. Bukhari, a resident of Islamabad, had made Al-Huda Medical College on Peco Road in 2001 without getting approval from the University of Health Sciences and the Pakistan Medical and Dental College. The accused had allegedly plundered millions of rupees as fee money from around 300 students and afterwards disappeared.
