LAHORE - Graduation ceremony of the University of Lahore, City Campus, was held on Saturday in the university auditorium. Ishaq Dar, former finance minister, was the chief guest while Muhammad Maqbool, Dean of School of Accountancy & Finance, and Dr Saleem Shujha, Rector the University of Lahore, distributed completion certificates of Mcom, MS Accounting & Finance, BS and Bcom. MA Rauf, chairman the University of Lahore, was also present. The chief guest said it was admirable that the University of Lahore was among the 500 top most universities of the world. The graduates of accountancy and finance could get almost 50 percent papers exemptions in the Institute of Chartered Accountant England & Wales, he said. Muhammad Maqbool said the School of Accountancy & Finance was a learning platform for the accounting students adding that our graduates were equipped with latest knowledge and techniques.
