LAHORE – The Punjab Health Department on Thursday promoted Prof Syed Atif Hasnain Kazmi to BPS-21 on account of his meritorious services rendered in the field of Dermatology. At present, he is working as Chairman-cum-Head of Dermatology Department at King Edward Medical University, Mayo Hospital.
Prof Kazmi is the son of the legend and father of Dermatology in Pakistan, late Prof Syed Ghulam Shabbir. He is the first ever dermatologist in Pakistan to be promoted to BPS-21.
Meanwhile, the government of Punjab on Saturday transferred an officer of Punjab Local Government Director Tanvir Ahmad Khan and posted him as WASA Director.
