IG PR lauds help centre

LAHORE Pakistan Railways IGP Syed Ibne Hussain on Wednesday appreciated the performance of PR Police Help & Complaint Centres. The centres were established at Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar Cantt, Peshawar City, Noshehra, Attock, Rawalpindi, Lala Musa, Sargodha, Multan Cantt, Rohri, Quetta, Mach, Sibbi, Chaman and Karachi Railway Stations. He said that the help centres were serving well and providing help to the passengers. According to the PR Police, total 8,790 passengers were facilitated through these centres during the recent year.Out of which 223 lost children, 186 runaway boys, 120 runaway girls and 26 women who left their homes were handed over to their legal heirs. As many as 2,231 cases were registered by these centres on the report of passengers. Lost and left in the train valuable luggage of 569 passengers was handed over to their owners.
