Additional District and Sessions Judge Munir Ahmed on Friday awarded life imprisonment to drug peddler Waheed Ahmed. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 200,000 on the convict. In case of non-payment of fine, the convict would have to face another year in jail. In 2005, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested the drug pusher with 40kg hashish. Later, the ANF submitted challan against him in the court.
